What things do you remember from Maine Road?

The stench of piss and running through the alleys around platt lane to get there on time from the bus!
Oh and the lethal blue bars in the kippax

The fact that (when there was still a big capacity) attendances varied wildly. You could get 25,000 one week, 62,000 the next, depending on who we were playing. but also on quite mysterious factors that I never quite understood. But no one went on about 'empty seats' - or terraces.

Nearly getting crushed by police horses at the back of the north stand as they were clearing city fans away from the away end.
