What trouble did you have last night?

people are getting mixed up with which hill.

united who weren't at the game were waiting at the top of grey mare lane where the chippy is on that small hill. as soon as city were coming from the south stand towards mary d's this is where it went off first of all. [1]

then further up towards asda city were coming round from the east stand, at the same time united took a left from leaving the away end, both sides goading through the fences. united kick down the fence and a again start wading into innocents.

city are now making their way from the south west and south east corners, coming together from both sides and it continues on for a couple of minutes. [2] city are now grouped on that hill close by to asda. united feel they've done all they have to now and but for a few battles it fizzles out.

did city not get it sorted soon enough? maybe. easier when you're in a group of 9000 though as will be the case at o.t.

whatever picture united try and paint there was about as much trouble as at celtic or birm city. there were probably about 10 people on the floor in the area all evening, probably half red/half blue.

I can only assume you were in the police helicopter.

It's all very...............pathetic isn't it?

Couldn't give a shit if the "red army" took Eastlands, they can take Eastlands every derby for all i care, as long as we take Eastlands on the pitch i'm quite happy for the auditions for Green Street to take place on Asda car park and then they can all go home and write another chapter in their nobel prize winning books.

I know what you mean but it's not just an attack on other like minded fans. It's an attack on ANY City fan. That's what grates. And that's what will cause more normal fans to kick off. It's a fucking cheek when someone comes down to a place you frequent on a regular basis and tries to hurt you. I'm no hooligan, don't even know any at City but i'm not standing for that and if it comes to it i'll stand my ground....unless it looks like i'm gonna get battered by about 30 blokes like!

It's not about trying to be 'naughty'.

Bloody hell, that-lad., impressive stuf!f It's like that film JFK, even down to the grassy knoll
It's like something out of "A Bridge Too Far". English Heritage should set up a battlefield memorial like they have at Culloden and Naseby. You could have one of those noticeboards describing the events.

"Here, on the night of 19th January 2010, the Manchester City army of Sheikh Mansour ("The Boys in Blue") led by Khaldoon al Mubarak & Garry Cook, routed their long-time opponents from Manchester United ("The Men in Black") led by the disliked Malcom Glazer.

This proved to be a decisive event in the Manchester Football War as financial pressures on Manchester United meant it was their last ever appearance in a cup semi-final and all the people who had initially flocked to their banner began to desert to the more solvent and successful Blue Army.

The Blue Army went on to achieve total dominance after the Men In Black were completely destroyed by the resurgent Leeds United army ("The Sheepshaggers") in their last stand outside Elland Road in 2013, prior to their relegation to League 1."

That's nonsense mate. I'm not going any further but that's not what happened.

around the ground it was dave. there was no decent, organised mob of city ready for them to come out, they got out and run riot. Away from the ground was a bit different, tbh dave to let them get out and then wade into normal scarfers without opposition is poor form on our behalf.

Agree with some of that - but you can't stop the fucking cowards attacking people with kids and old blokes. They fucking ran away from anybody between the age of 20 and 50 - unless they outnumbered then 5 to 1 or they had kids with them - bunch of fuckin wankers. If they really wanted it - then they could have organised it properly - COWARDS.

Also, didn't see one of the smelly twats jump up in the city end when they scored - despite all the mouthing off of how they're going to do this and that.

English Heritage? Culloden?

*prepares to witness scenes from Braveheart*
Point taken. Mind you, if Fergie had been in charge of the Scots at Culloden he'd have spun it as a great victory.

They'd still be battling now, deep into "Fergie Time".

Basically City got done. Rats/MIB whatever took the piss at our place and did the business on our turf. They brought the numbers, went looking for it it, some got it but there mob as a whole was untouchable.
We were at home and i know its sad but there was no organisation from our lads, I mean wtf you would think we would be able to muster summot to stop them running a riot down the road hitting anyone in sight. We certainly wont go to Old Trafford and do what they did.

Losers.

How was their mob "untouchable"? If they want to stream out of the ground and dish out cracks to women, kids and innocent fans then there's not an awful lot that can be done in that instant.

They acted like complete c*nts and you should not be directing your anger at our lads because of that.
