Wierd that the picture they showed in that pub (looks like The Waldorf) doesn't do the switch over to the full time whistle at The Stadium of Light. Must have been from a foreign channel.

It was foreign Dave...with zero commentary to boot!!!
Had no idea if the utd game had finished...or the score (knew they were winning at ht!!)..
Still gives me goosebumps when I watch that video....yes I would love to have been at the game, but this was a very good alternative!!!

Oh and yes it was the Waldorf....and it was fuckin rammed....and yes, it went mental : )

I'm in the red and black away shirt (which I had to ring out from all the beer that was soaked in). I also copped for a kiss off a bit of a minger to be honest, but she just leaned in and I thought just go with it we've won the f****** league. That, and I was pissed.

i remember falling out with my old man for telling him to "shut the fuck up" when he kept saying we can do this.
