What's the most obscure goal you've seen in a City match in

Lech poznan's second vs us away. Boyata headed it onto the back of their strikers head and it went in

I remember their third goal being lucky where it rebounded of the post and went in off Given's back/head.

Alan Kernaghen, probably one of the worst defenders ever to play for us in the premier league, chipping the keeper from a ridiculously long way out after bringing the ball out from defence and beating a few men.

Also, I remember being in absolute shock when Danny Mills scored in that early morning kick off against Everton a few years back. I swear there was complete silence from the crowd for about 5 seconds after it went in...

There was a game against Liverpool at home in the 90's, when we always lost 4-0 or so.

City were on the attack and won the most obvious corner ever in the history of the game. So all of the City players moved forward to prepare for the corner.
Only the ref had given a goal kick.........
Bruce Grobbalear realised this and quickly played the ball out to a Liverpool player (Rush?) who ran the rest of the field unopposed and the ball was soon in the back of the City net.
The City players went mad, as did the Kippax!

There's a new thread if I ever saw one!

Probably Tony Adcocks winner in our 1-0 win at Millwalls old Den, sometime around the eighties

....... about 500 of us were penned in the far end and it was didfficult to see what Adcock was up to as he latched on to a loose ball , it appeared to loop high into the air and catch the Millwall keeper by complete surprise as it suddenly dipped into the net behind him .... it was one of those goals that seemed to take an age to happen , and it caught both sets of fans on the hop ..... most of us were only aware we had actually scored once we saw Adcock jumpin' around like a lunatic celebrating!

A very welcome goal , as it proved to be the winner , but nevertheless a very strange goal indeed.

Did he slip and fall on his arse like he did in the 10-1 doing his gay celebration?
