What's the most trouble you've witnessed following City?

My first taste of violence was at forest as a 9/10 yr old, got off special walked across some bridge and then BOOM, it's gone off to fcuk, shit myself obviously but couldn't wait to tell my mates! The season after was Leeds away, got off the coach and in some underpass subway BOOM, carnage, chaos, shit it again obviously, back on the coach after the game and the windows go in, I'm getting a bit sick of this now, I just want to watch city! I've witnessed a lot over the past 30 yrs watching city, way too many to mention, that's why it's so easy to write a book about it, but as much as being in a mob is a good feeling it's not worth going to jail for!

Luton Town wasn't a good place to visit in the 70's/80's ..... they had a nasty little crew of thugs following them ...... my mate got a good hiding there after a night cup game , as he made his way through that 'alleyway back to the station ..... that was four days in hospital for him !

They were also firing air rifles at us after another game there !

I seem to recall they had a bit of a bad 'set to' with Millwall on one occasion in the 80's , and it all kicked off on the kennilworth Road pitch !

Leeds away late 70s, my mate got stabbed in the hand, a lad on our coach got both his legs broke badly and i dont think to this day he can walk properly.

Our coach was first there, parked up past the old greyhound stadium, the police just said the grounds that way. We got jumped and chased to the ground. Stood against the fence when we got in, it was railings and saw the Cool Cats arrive. Leeds didnt seem to keen to tackle them. Afterwards was madness, fighting all the way back to the coach park where City held our ground.

Wolves away in 79 i think when Tueart scored after we hadnt won for 17 games was naughty and there was only a few hundred of us there. Bricked the train coming out of the staion. Thats were we learnt to close the blinds when leaving.

Anyone remember Spurs arriving in the Kippax, right at KO time singing "we are evil"

Is that the time they were coming up the stairs at the back of the kippax , big black or mixed race lad leading them ...... but City chased them down again , and ran them onto the pitch in the Platt Lane corner ??

anyone remember sheff united away in the cup? the fucking balloon game.

remember seeing fighting over the segregation at full time. then it spilled out afterwards outside. city fans stopping the sheff united fans coming out and then city going through their gates and fighting them in their own stand.

probably the most arrests seen in recent times.

Leeds away in the 80's fighting all the way back to the station, came at us in the park felt like Zulu literally thousands came at us over the motorway into the park but about 100 stood and hand to hand fighting down the line before suddenly they were going backwards and we had them backing off before west Yorkshire old bill attacked us for having the cheek to defend ourselves, everton away in the 81 quarter final was as bad, during the match you had to shield yourself from the coins and other missiles then outside the walk back to the station was like black hawk down, geezers coming out of pubs with crates of beer to throw bottles at you women and kids throwing bottles at you and then every estate on scotty road turned out to throw everything at us from up high bricks bottles stones you name it they threw it whilst the scouse cnuts tried to get into police escort as we knocked them out more tried sneaking in all the way to the station, the replay was payback time liittle firm of theirs got out before game over and were under escort back to Oxford rd where one of biggest firms of city were waiting for them and they got it even with old bill protecting them, never once been everton without it kicking off,and the time at our place when city got in the platt lane stand was some of the worst trouble at city with mounted old bill on the Kippax to try to keep us from going over the fences at the scouse

Was that a big grassed area on the left towards town, where you couldnt be seen till it was too late? ( i was about 14 and it was dark ) ;)

That semi final of the Carling Cup against the rags was probably one of the strangest ones for me. Got out of the ground and there were police zooming past in cars, on horses, running. Then when we got to the bridge heading back into Town there were police all around there with guys all dressed in black stood up against the wall, guessing they were the extra terrestrial fighting men in black. Yeah little intimidating walking past all of those ugly mugs as they'd have nothing to lose if they came at us beautiful Blues.

Another time which was a bit embarrassing as a City fan was when I used to work behind the food kiosk at on match days and a Blue started going mental at one of the guys we were working with. We saw him hand in a tenner and he went mental saying he gave in a twenty and expected another tenner in change, even though a few of us had seen him giving in the ten. He either genuinely got it wrong and thought he'd handed a twenty in or he was trying to get a tenner out of the guy at the till. The way he reacted though was shocking, threatening to jump over the counter and stamp the guys head in and calling him all sorts, the guy was only a young guy too who had just started a week or two earlier. So that's the worst I've seen from us, which I suppose isn't too bad considering it was one guy in an isolated incident and not really about the football.
