When can I officially be concerned?

At the end of the season its too late

Unless results really dip and we are looking at relegation then I simply can't see any possibility that Hughes would get the sack. It just doesn't fit with the way things have been done so far.

I think most 'Hughes Out'ers know this. We're likely to be in or around the top six come January and then we're likely to strenghen a little in areas that we've been weak. This season the aim is obviously to have a really good go at the top four and, so long as we're there or there abouts, there's no way we'll be making changes in the management.

We've got a squad with plenty of depth, and cash to spend in January. In the circumstances, I honestly can't see us dropping away from the leading pack. If we make top four or are close then Hughes is likely to stay. If we only just scrape top six or don't even get that, then I'd welcome a debate about his future.

I have always said Hughes out from day 1

What I want to know is most people still seem to be a fan and I rally hope he cuts it

BUT

When am i offically allowed to be genuinley concerned about the state of play

If we get fuck all at an out of form Liverpool - Will people class that or will we get the excuse of

"we didnt win at Anfield, fucking hell stop moaning its a hard fixture"

if we dont pick up 3 points Hull at home very convincingly, will i get - its a draw, its a point we havent lost have we?"

If we dont get 3 points Sunderland away will i get

"there doing really well, we should be glad of a point"

Where does it stop??

Please can the Hughes love in brigade clearly state when I can be justified in my berating of the man

Thank you

I'm puzzled... where were you saying 'hughes out since day 1'? since you only joined recently.

secondly... you said hughes out since day one, but then you hope he 'cuts it'... which is it?

There's a chance this 'Out of form Liverpool' might regain their form on the day. Oh, and btw... Played 14 - LOST ONE!!!!!!

i see what your saying mate but played 14 - WON FIVE!!!!!!! doesn't quite have the same slant does it? i see why you went for the lost one angle.

The 14 would include the three wins in the C/Cup. So it's played 11 won 5, or played 14 won 8.

still doesn't have the same ring to it does it? did you not get my point?

You can be officially concerned whenever you want, just stop boring the pants off everyone by having to tell us all.

For what? And can i have a ticket?

Anything above 8 is a PL record for us, get some perspective. Before you moan its cost us 200M, its probably cost us nearer £1bn to win nothing for 32 years up to Hughes joining. We know money is no indicator of success.

Btw, what will it take for you to accept him? If you have been against him since day 1 will you boo and resign if he wins something?

isn't this forum about airing opinion? why berate somebody for having an opinion that differs from yours? i'm sure he isn't the only blue who doesn't rate hughes as a manager.

If asking questions is berating someone, i would hate to see you when someone has go at you. His opinion has been aired, as has mine, whats the problem?

Yes I did - just thought you'd like to know the correct numbers.

And 8 wins out of 14 sounds better than 5 out of 11, so I can see why people choose to include the c/cup matches.

Let's face it - if you are pessimistic or don't like Hughes then you'll tend to spin a draw as a bad result. If you like Hughes or are an optomist then you'll spin it as a good result.

It's only at the end of the season, when points win prizes, that all the spin will unravel.
