I remember when there were only 2 channels but we did have colour tv in 71,remember watching my first cup final in colour Arsenal v Liverpool yellow shirts and blue shorts Arsenal and all red Scoucers.Arsenal won the double and Charlie George got the winner at Wembley.1978/79 season -Kippax Junior, the book with tickets not ripped out is in the loft somewhere. I used to go with my Grandad who took me to my 1st game v Arsenal in 73/74 season.
We used to get the number 50 bus from Burnage and get off on Anson Rd and walk through Rusholme, I used to love playing "guess the voucher number" on my way to the game..... I was very young and there were only 3 channels on the black and white telly.
