Dad took me to my first game in 1971 the original 3-3 v rags I spent most of the game watching the crowd, the noise o the noise.
I know a lot will be decades before me,
a lot will be a few years after me,
but we all love City
and we had to start somewhere.
For me I was on holiday in July 2011 (shortly before the start of the season) and I saw this on PL's greatest goals..
My jaw was on the floor. I'd never seen someone make the defense utterly stupid with magic in his boots. El Mago indeed!
So where did your love affair with City start?
Good moveSome of my ancestors immigrated to the United States from Britain over a century ago. The part of my family that came from Britain to the United States was from Manchester. I knew when I got interested in the Premier League about a decade ago that I wanted to support a team from Manchester. Ultimately, I went with City because the club felt a bit like an underdog trying trying to overthrow the establishment to achieve greatness. I wanted to be apart of that process.
my first away game was May 11, 1968when they started becoming successful
Loved Alex Harley, all too brief !1963 Dad took me to City v Utd 1-1 Alex Harley became my hero as he scored...May have already left when Quixall equalised from the spot.
