When/why did you join Bluemoon?

I lose track of when the site was actually launched, the mind's not as sharp as it used to be (that's what years of the transfer forum do to you). It was either 2001 or 2002.

Currently working on the fifth incarnation of the site, which is taking a hell of a lot of time and effort (which is why I haven't posted much lately) but will hopefully be ready in time for the new season. It'll be a big relief when it's done, even though some people will say it's shit and can we switch back to the old site. As they did in 2004, 2007, and 2010!

I first joined in the Summer of 2007, when I moved down from Manchester to Bristol with work - only to realise the place is full of Rags, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool fans.

I was desperate for updates on whether the Thaksin Takeover was going to happen, to talk about the rights and wrongs of it, and to discuss who we all wanted our new Manager to be - and I missed having a network of Blues around to talk to about the Club - so joined up on here after hearing about it on the MEN Comments section.

Something went wrong with my original log-ins around the time of the site update in 2007, so after lurking quietly for another couple of months I set up under a new Username because I wanted to talk about how amazing Nery Castillo was going to be for us!

I have short bursts during which I post loads, then really quite periods - usually due to work - but I always end up coming back to Bluemoon because its the best site on the Web, in my humble opinion.

We had the internet ages before I joined but only for about a year or so. When the eldest lad started asking for it for school work, we bit the bullet and signed up in January 2010. I didn't really know what to do when I wasn't alone on the internet and just went on the official site all the time.

Bluemoon was the second result on MCFC searches and a mate had told me a Rangers & City fan I used to know had been asking if anyone knew me on here. I signed up believing there'd be so few members that I'd recognise him by his username. I thought fbloke stood for fat bloke and tried to strike up a conversation with him. He must've thought I was a lunatic.

Then the Adam Teese thread happened.......
