Where is the single most beautiful place you have been?

One place we used to love was Polis in Western Cyprus... No idea what it's like these days but it used to be an idylic fishing village we visited regularly when we were stationed at Akrotiri... Stayed at the Lime Tree Apartments which were basic but in keeping with the whole place....

I found Santorini to be very reasonably priced and great value for money on the many trips I've had over the years.Of course if you are to stay in Fira or Oia with views over to the Caldera it becomes very expensive and the shops that cater for the rich yanks coming off the cruise ships are only to happy to cash in selling their overpriced crap! I've always stayed in Perissa and hired a vehicle to get about and find the restaurants to be very cheap and excellent value for money! Can't wait to get back there one day,god willing as its up there witht the most beautiful places I've been to

Fair enough. I'm sure you know it a lot better than me.

Travelling around British Columbia when I went to Vancouver blew my mind. A truly stunning place. I've camped in Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland too. Astonishingly pretty...but i've gotta say even a lot closer to home, the Isle of Skye is breathtakingly beautiful and unique.

Visited, amongst other places, the Isle Of Skye on a cruise with work in the summer of 2019. That was the standout stop, absolutely gorgeous in the sunshine.

Santorini gets a few mentions and I do think it's a place that lives up to the hype and pictures. It's always quite busy jostling with the other tourists, especially on a day a cruise is in town, but it's such an iconic place, somewhere you have to visit and see for yourself.

Actually I struggled with this. I have been to many places all over the world and have some fabulous memories. Dinner on the prime spot on the terrace at the fabulous Hotel Bauer in Venice, watching the Festa del Redentore with the flotilla of boats and the most amazing fireworks I have ever seen.

Or maybe an evening at Tali Wiru by Uluru (Ayers Rock) with amazing food followed by watching the stars like beacons and the Milky Way *brightly* lit up across the sky. Amazing.

I could go on. But none of these places / things I would describe as *beautiful*. So I would go with this perhaps:
