Was in San Antonio, Ibiza tripping my head off to be quite frank. Let's just say I got a bad case of paranoia and Thought that everyone, my friends, skysports news etc were all in on a wind up just to take the piss out of me. Quite surreal. Unbelievable day that I'll never ever forget!

I was in the club shop buying a couple of shirts for the forthcoming season, and there were a couple of lads dressed in Arab gear, but I still didn't have a clue what was going on until about half an hour later whilst driving home and the guy who they soon got shut of, was on GMR saying we could afford to buy Tranny, at which point I pressed the throttle to the metal and then sat glued in front of the TV for the rest of the day and night!!
Heard it on SSN at about 8.15am, then was a guest of a guy who'd put a team into the City Youth Acadamy Golf Day at the Worsley Marriot in the afternoon - perfect timing! Rumours were circulating all afternoon, particularly about us putting a bid in for Berbatov. At the dinner , the compare started off by saying 'Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, how does it feel to be a supporter of the richest club in the World?'
Got back home at about 11pm to hear the bloke on SSN say, 'Man City sign Robinho - done deal, done deal!' Stayed up with my lad until 2am watching SSN.
Still get goose bumps thinking about it - definately one of the top 5 days in my life.

Got the text early morning saying we had been bought out by an arab consortium and then a couple of minutes later that we had tabled bids for 200 million pounds worth of players. Was stuck in work and as more news filtered through.
Worked at the MRI at the time and decided on my 45 min dinner to run to eastland in safety boots, overalls just to see what was happening as Berbatov was on a flight at the time and no one knew where too.
Bumped into the guy from sky and asked him if he had any more news and he just turned to me and said.....what more news do you want? that pretty much summed it up really.
Stayed up til twelve, as we clinched the robinho signing. Following sky sports was probably the most dramatic night of telly ever and one of best days supporting City.

i was on a weeks holiday at home, put tv on about 10am ish and saw what was going on, then saw we was after bervaflop and then saw robbie was coming at 1130 at night. so was watching ssn, comp, and satanta news all day
