Where would you rank last night in terms of disappointments?

It's not so much losing a Semi-Final because that's going to happen when you're regularly in the latter stages of the tournament, it's more the way it happened. To be two goals up with a few minutes left and to throw it away is hard to take especially when we should've been three or four goals in front going in to that second leg.

I think the most disappointing thing for me though is that for the past five seasons we've arguably been the best team in Europe for at least three of those but have no CL trophy to truly represent what a consistently high level we've been playing at during that period.

I'm not far off over things already, am mainly just desperate for the Newcastle game so we can start putting things right and get the league won.

Spent the last few days picking faults in all our players, I want to now see how great they all are again.

I don't give a fuck now. It doesn't seem like a C/L final anyway when you play another English team, that's what I thought when we were playing Chelsea last season

Given how much I hate this contrived competition which is run by a corrupt organisation that does everything in its power to get the favoured few to the latter stages, not a lot.

UEFA remind of when I was a kid back in the 70's when me and my mates would all be different teams and play knock out tournaments, be it with long distance shots or penalties.

I was genuinely more upset losing to Wet Sham in the Carabo cup.

Seriously? I’m the opposite. I personally couldn’t give a toss what team we play in the carabou cup. The FA cup similar. I love those big European nights. A QF v Athletico, a semi final against Real Madrid. Tension, drama, excitement. Certainly beats winning a semi final 9-0 or whatever it was against Burton Albion. Even with a loss it was such a dramatic game. These are the nights that are remembered,

I would genuinely feel the same way if UEFA wasn't so bent _ just wait until our neighbours finish ninth but still get an entry due to a random set of figures that will put them in that spot.

I obviously accept you have a view and to accept that its not the same as mine. Happy to agree to disagree, it's an argument I wouldn't waste my time on.
