I have no idea what English and Irish curry sauce are

Currys are a British invention so the only authentic one would probably be English.

Strange that as Kari's were being made in south and south east asia 4000 years before any recorded visits from europeans and before the English existed (we were brigantes and celts at the time)

Curry however, is a British name for spicy Indian food. A bit like the good old Spag Bol isn't an Italian dish or Chilli Con Carne isn't a Mexican dish.

Curry is the anglisized version of the Tamil word, doesn't mean we invented it.

Bolognaise Ragu very much exists in Italy but is served with Tagliatelli rather than Spaghetti and Chili Con Carne was the given name by the conquistadors for local dishes and very much a north american dish, whetger it is called that in mexico is different, but the dishes exist even if the names differ

None are English in origin, only reworded to suit out native tongue.

The blandness of our versions compared to the originals can be confirmed though.
