Which City signing excited you most?

Tevez, Robinho, Aguero in that order. As a kid of the 80s and 90s had very few transfers to get excited about back then. Oh, except for former World Footballer of the Year, George Weah... :x

Anelka was quite exciting as far as pre-takeover transfers went though but nothing compared to the thrill of Robinho, Tevez, and Aguero.

Great question. Over the years have always got behind every player and always hoped we would get a player that would win us 1 trophy. Great players like kinky were unknown so never made you sit up and say we've bought a legend. I remember Francis and thinking lazy twat but the game then wasn't what it is now. So if I could choose one signing it would have to be

Mancini

At that point I knew we had somebody that could win us a trophy. The greatest signing in the last 35 years.

Mancini, I wanted Mancini after we were in the relegation spots if I remember after a loss to West Brom, I just knew Mark Hughes wasn't good enough and it sickens me he wasted so much money on average to rubbish players. I was pleased QPR lost by such a margin just for him to be shown up. As it was, it was a full year after that until Mancini became manager and I was delighted, I really had wanted him for nearly a year and there he was, our manager. So him.

As a player, Aguero, but as another member said, if De Rossi signed, him.

David Silva.

Personally a huge fan for years since about 2007, 2 years before he signed i said 'imagine if he played for city', i laughed, we all laughed. It wasn't even thought of, not even in a dream it was possible.

I was ecstatic after we signed Geovanni and Elano, then it was Jo and Robinho the next year.
