Which NFL team to support?

I'm a Redskins fan, been shit for years but we did win 2 Superbowl titles in late 80's and one early in the 90's.

My old bosses brother was an accountant and worked for the Redskins in the 80's. Bill used to come back with loads of signed stuff and was best mates with the quarter back Joe Thiseman I think he was called.

Don't 'support' anyone. It's pathetic. Just enjoy the sport for what it is. (And it is a quality sport, I love it)

Or do you want to be the equivalent of the Bangkok MUFC supporters club trying to make out that they all have this deep connection with Manchester United.

You have feck all to do with these American sporting clubs so don't insult their proper fans by bestowing on yourself the same title as them.

I always say I like the cowboys but in fairness I will always have a soft spot for the saints. The season they won the Super Bowl I said after the first game "they will win it this year". There were some epic games n the way to the Super Bowl and it took a really gutsy performance to win it.

Absolutely quality post mate. I have lived here for donkeys years and I feel exactly the same way. I have lived in plenty of different 'catchment' areas for very large, popular, successful Nfl and College teams here in the U.S. A few huge university teams, and the Buccaneers, Dolphins and now Jacksonville Jaguars (not that big to be fair). The thought of me suddenly getting tatted up, spraypainted and getting season tickets is just not something that crosses my mind. Not a chance I will ever develop a love for a U.S sports team. I like teams and would quite happily choose one over another if I had to, but I just can't get passionate about a team I have no connection with, other than the fact that I live near them and/or their ground.

I have an affinity for the Chargers because I love San Diego, and also the kits(uniforms here) are obviously City related/colours, and I quite like the city of Seattle also, so I don't mind seeing them do well. My Alma Mater is the University of South Florida (sports teams nicknamed the USF Bulls), but I couldn't give a monkeys about how they get on in sports.

Again, great post.

Rams , have done for years , seen them once in St Louis and once at Wembley , will hopefully see them again at Wembley this year and if i heard this correct during the superbowl they are going to be playing wembley every year for the next four , so will be the UK's Home team once a year

follow the New england patriots but cant say i support them because i dont watch them all the time, as for the OP try supporting green bay. they won the super bowl last year but hadnt won anything for a while before hand. there own buy the fans aswell. dont mind the ravens either.

Dallas Cowboys since that welsh comedian did a program about them in the 80`s plus it was a City Un*ted thing about the Cowboys and Washington Redskins Blue verses red. Cant see how a city fan can support the Red...skins uuggh

Green Bay are one of the most successful teams in modern day American football

Been a redskins fan since 1982 when John Riggins ( 44) was rumbling around. Just like city

Same mate, we're probably all a similar age.

Riggins, Theismann and Art Monk, them were the days.
