Which NFL team to support?

I've started getting into it recently, anyone advise me on which team has a similar charateristics to that of City. Big, loyal fanbase, not been blessed with silverware for a while but on the up. Help would be appreciated.

Mate, Philadelphia Eagles is a team for you.

No Superbowl win since modern era (since Superbowl exists).

Always close (4 NFC championships and 1 superbowl appearances in last 8 years) but never over the top (yet).

Very European-like, crazy fan base (other americans dont like their emotions, these guys threw snowballs at Santa Clause during halftime at one of their bad games long time ago :-)

Hate between them and Dallas Cowboys ('america's team') is very comparable to City vs. Rags...

That's as close as you get.

Plus they have Mike Vick as their QB - who is one of the top 3 most exciting players to watch, ever :-)

He is also an absolute asshole of a human being and should not of been allowed back in the sport. I like the Eagles but i will not watch them again until this man does not play for them, despicable vile fucking **** (Vick that is)

I'm a Redskins fan, been shit for years but we did win 2 Superbowl titles in late 80's and one early in the 90's.

Been a redskins fan since 1982 when John Riggins ( 44) was rumbling around. Just like city

Same mate, we're probably all a similar age.

Riggins, Theismann and Art Monk, them were the days.

Dexter Manley and Charles Mann.....what a line-up we had.

Do people deserve second chance mate?

I believe they do, and he's been golden since coming back - cant deny that.

No not for what he did. he was never truly remorsel for what he did and would of carried on doing it. He deserved to go back to to the ghetto he so truly still loved as a broke bum. Not being giving massive money. Unfortunately NFL is like any other sport it sells its morals for winning

Redskins for me, been watching since the early 80's

my redskins hoody comes out once a year for the superbowl all day session

been following the browns since it started on channel 4.complete bag of shite.i ended up marrying a girl from cleveland.the fans in the dawg pen are mad as a box of frogs.thats why i picked them.baseball team aint too bad and the basketball team one of the best.cant stand it tho.

didn't know there were so many Skins fans out there?

I watched the Redskins Dolphins Superbowl on World of Sport and was hooked (even tho it was only 30 minutes)...the Superbowl successes in the later 80's were just a prelude to a hideous drought and coincided nicely with City's form around then.

(i even managed to play the game for a couple of years in the late 80s...and can say my career ended when i snapped my wrist to fuck playing in Washington.....Tyne & Wear)
