Which of our previous players would improve City today?

Jobby Crossan
Oakes
Mike Doyle
Beagrie
Tiatto
Berkovic
Kinkladze

and Negouai - only because we'd have the only Premier league player with every vowel in his surname. I reckon the only reason we signed him is that future Blues would win pub quizzes.

There is only one......

RICHARD DUNNE!!!

He could teach Kompany how to score proper own goals... he never messed about.

We'd have been better off with 10 men.

Anelka when we had him in his prime?

Some surprising and silly answers on here but that's a great shout. All the histrionics between him and Keegan mask's the fact when we had him we had a world class striker at his best. I'd have him over Dzeko all day long. He'd gobble up the chances this team creates rather than blazing five or six attempts over before finally converting.

I agree he'd be better than Dzeko but he wasn't exactly the most deadly of finishers when playing for us. I recall him being particularly unreliable with one on ones.

Short memory or what? Dunne was our best player for a number of seasons for very good reasons.

SWP
Nigel De Jong, loved the guy but no, we've moved on.
Carlos Tévez, definately.
Mario Balotelli, no, again fun to have around but too loose a cannon.
Patrick Vieira, only in his pomp which he was long past when he played for us.
SWP, hmm, maybe, undecided TBH.
