Which of our previous players would improve City today?

Wouldn't even make the bench
 
From the last 54 years (when at the peak of their power) the following would at least improve the squad:
Bert, Book, Booth, Doyle, Watson, McCarthy, Pardoe, Power, Donachie, Oakes, Bell, Lake, Hamman, Kinkladze, Bernarbia, Sumerbee (M), Anelka, Law & Lee.
 
Well with Agüero out, it'd have to be Tevez for him. Gaz Baz for Fernandinho. Tommy Hutchinson for Nasri and if Kompany is injured, we're fooked at the back, so Colin Hendry could easily fill that position. But as for any of those, or indeed any of the players mentioned in this thread; not one would improve todays side. Not even Colin Bell. Sorry.......! Although........, Dennis Tueart, possibley a good shout :)

If we're including him then we can include George Weah, Robbie Fowler, McManaman etc.

I'm glad you clarified which Summerbee you meant, as I really wasn't sure.
 
Lots of obvious ones been mentioned but I recon Clive Wilson would improve us at left back . Gutted when we sold him , very under estimated imo.
 
(As to players I've seen personally)

Stylistically, Distin would have complimented VK very well as a partner I think.

Super Kev in the holding role - not as good as Ferny obviously, but better than what we have behind him now.

Tevez would seem to be a pretty clear choice as well.
