Didn't we do that in consecutive home games against them as well? The last at Maine Road where Keegan said he was going to fight fire with fire and attack them, and then the first at the Etihad where he said he'd be a bit more cagey and we were still 4 down at half time!
 
Bolton at home under Stuart Pearce. I just couldn't see any hope of things getting better for us for a while. Luckily I was very wrong.

Two teams that couldn't create a single fart between them after an all you can eat buffet, and we managed to get beat by Fat Sam and his dour brand of anti-football.

Getting beat is one thing, but getting beat by shite when you're shite, and thus finding yourselves in a position of being labelled worse than the other shite post-game, is just.. very shite.

Reviewing my comments above, it may be evident that I need a poo. Cheerio for now.

Maine rd yes but can't remember being 4-0 at the etihad at half time
 
there are quite a few which have been mentioned before.

Wigan cup, West ham cup, Boro missed pen, spurs quarter final, Ipswich quarter final but my biggest low was the Blackburn quarter final. Closest I've come to giving up. Complete no show. Thiought I'd never see us win anything in my life.

Glad I kept going! :)
