the spurs hate originates from the 1981 cup final & subsequent replay, then there was the cup quarter final at home in 93 pitch invasions and allsorts around & outside the ground it’s stayed with most blues this hate, try wandering up seven sisters road for spurs away was like only for the bravest back in the day, there’s been plenty of other encounters home & away for decades, and personally after united & liverpool spurs are my 3rd most hated team & before our recent hatred of the dippers for all the multitude of reasons spurs were in second spot firmly

No I'm pretty sure how it works is that each percentage is a percentage of the total votes possible for that team, so they're independent of each other.

anything that winds that lot up be my guest pal, was nice to express our mutual hate for tottenham with all the decent hammers fans we encountered sunday, they took their defeat in good spirits, a good bunch those east londoners and any group fans who hate spurs & united will do for us, but i suppose you being arsenal would have different opinion of the irons

Well its nice to hear that Arteta means something to you guys, I'm personally of the impression he's doing a great job at Arsenal. Jesus is a brilliant player, surprised you sold him but also understandable from his POV because Haaland is going to be the best CF in the world for many years.

Anyway, I still don't have a clue about the Spurs hatred? Its not like they've ever won anything.

Of course Spurs have won something. They have won two more trophies than Everton, one more than Villa and just three trophies less than City in their history. City and Spurs are 5th and 6th in the all-time trophy list with 29 and 26 trophies respectively.

We’ve had some iconic games against Spurs where things got a bit heated. The Balet on Ice knocking them off their perch as the best team of the decade, 1981 FA Cup final/replay, FA Cup quarter final 1993 (pitch invasion by City fans), FA Cup comeback 3-4 at the Lane, Crouch scoring late on to put them into the CL and us out of it, the next year Crouch scoring an own goal in the same corner of the goal to his winner the year before to put City into the CL and Spurs out of it, the CL quarter final with the last minute winner VAR’d off and then the first game of the next season with our last minute winner VAR’d off!

I personally dislike Arsenal more because of their constant moaning about City since the takeover. Racist abuse of Adebayor, Wenger accusing us of cheating, letters sent to the Premier League moaning about City and accusing us of breaking rules on Arsenal letter-headed paper, ring leaders in the letter to CAS, Alan Davies’ racist tinged rant about us and one of our owners…

Arteta can get fucked n’all, telling City he wasn’t going to leave then going behind our backs and meeting Arsenal in secret at his house at 2am and agreeing to join Arsenal, with Pep and Txiki not happy with him at all for doing that.
