No worries, thanks for giving it a listen anyway. Chris Whitley's music clearly isn't going to be for everybody. "Living With The Law" and "Dirt Floor" are his best albums I reckon, but others may get more out of his wildly different styles on other albums.I've also been listening to a few complete Beatles albums recently, prompted of all things by watching the film Yesterday. I'd previously only really listened to the red and blue compilation albums but there is obviously so much more to explore.
I gave your man Chris Whitley a listen earlier on Spotify, probably unfair to make a quick judgement but didn't sound like my cup of tea. I'm always happy to give new things a go though and might come back to him.
