Who can replace Leroy Sane?

We were linked to Everton Soares from Gremio last summer. Brazilian left winger who has played 14 games for the national team, 24 years old.

David Neres at Ajax and Moussa Diaby at Leverkusen are both left footed wingers who can play on each side.

The more ”safe” options are Heung Min Son and Bailey from Leverkusen. And as we all now we were linked heavily with Oyarzabal from Sociedad, though i hope we dont buy him.

Ferran Torres at Valencia looks like a great player but is right footed and has mainly played at RW. Same with Sancho.

Not really true, he has played on the right a lot as well.

In 17/18 and 18/19 he played more on the left than right. I used to think he was better on the right but I think he's equally effective on either wing now.

To say our system doesn't suit "inverted" wingers is bullshit as that's how we've played most of the time during the most successful period in our history. It's just another excuse to bash Sterling.

I can't think of a single occasion that Mahrez and Bernardo have played on the left, they've both been pretty successful signings.

Has to be Sancho! Homegrown an added bonus but is less likely to want to move away if things are going well here? Plus he knows the area and the club and no potential cancelo type situations? Sorts us out for years to come as well
