Who can we actually class as world class players?

World class means players that would get in a world eleven. Which means there are 11 world class
players at the moment, none who have been mentioned here!

No, I'd say that would be "world's best" not "world class".

World class surely means players who could be considered to be in that class. I would think of it more as world team squad players.

Now to answer the question, we still have none.

It's tempting to say Tevez, but in the world squad, with Messi, Drogba, Torres, Rooney, Villa and Eto'o to choose from and maybe Klose or Higuain (and probably some I have forgotten), you can't pick Tevez, can you.

On last nights performance it's gotta be Elano and Robinho. That play for their 2nd goal was class.

Shame he cant make it in the premiership.

LOL at Given being world class. Tevez is the only world class footballer at City, probably Robbie as well but it's little use to us if he can't do it in the prem

Tevez is the only world class player at city, Robinho on form isnt world class and Yaya is definitely not world class, hes a very good player but because of the position he plays in its difficult to be classed as a world class player. Maybe if he was pushed further up the field and performed well then maybe yes

I would say Tevez, Robbie (when hes on) and Toure if we get him.

Having said that Ade, Lescott, Barry and Given would be the next level down, very close.

tevez, robinho, and given are the only ones although i think kompany and de jong are starting to become real quality players

At the moment the only players in our squad that I would say are world class are Tevez, Ade, Dejong, Kompany. Robinho but he will probably never play for us again.

I think the players I have mentioned would get in most sides including the top teams in the prem. Tevez is our only truley exceptional player at the moment that would get in any team IMO.

I'd define world class as being in contention for a world 11.

We haven't got anyone anywhere near.
