Who could be our media mouthpiece?

Mike Summerbee does a great job whenever he is allowed in front of the cameras. Problem is, he isn't often allowed.

What with Liverpool and United having the punditry pretty much sewn up - as empathised once again last night with Neville and Scholes preciding over the derby - we need someone from our ranks fighting our corner.

But who would you choose from our ex-players?

Do we really need someone fighting our corner? I think Neville especially will give credit when it's due. The sad fact is that Sky employ ex players who have enjoyed high profiles to cover Premiership games and City haven't had many since the Premiership started. But I'm quite happy our players will fight our corner. We don't have to have an ex player in a studio.

Somebody mentioned in another thread, we don't have many ex players that have a good punditry presence that are well known enough to actually be brought onto the big channels.

BT have had McManaman, Hargreaves, and David James... But they're never there purely for us. Hargreaves was decent enough I thought anywho...

But yeah when this set of players retire, we should have a load ready to big us up.

For now we should just adopt Souness.
