Who scored the first City goal you saw 'live'?

The 1st goal I remember was from Maurizio Gaudino against Chelsea i'm sure it was scored pretty early like 5mins. Think Mark Stein score straight after and again in the 2nd half we lost 2-1 I think was around 94/95 thats as far back as I can remember.

My man Pablo Zabaleta against Wigan, 18th January 2009 in a 1-0 win. Hearing the roar of the City faithful live for the first time was wonderful- can't wait to get back over at the end of the year for some more matches live.

Trevor Morley, i think. It was the 4-2 win at home to Leicester in 1988-89. Morley got a hat-trick and it was the game Paul Lake got knocked out and his tongue blocked his trachea.

My memory's very vague on this as I'd have been perhaps seven at the time, but I seem to recall both Joe Royle and Tommy Booth scoring against Everton round about 1974/5.

Anelka against Fulham at home 29 January, 2003. Great game that. Battered them 4-1. Then we signed Fowler, sigh. Then we lost to West Brom 0-1. Typical.

16/08/1992 - QPR at home - Drew 1-1. Historic day for football as it was the first ever live Monday night game. David White scored for us and Andy Sinton scored a screamer for them.

Paul Simpson, towards the end of the 86-87 season. Dont remember exactly who against, think it may have been Oxford but that is a distant memory
