I have had private messages that say exactly that.
If an alternative view is put up there is not only personal abuse from those incapable of debating, which is against the forum rules, but also the risk of a ban for reacting.
Hence the usual posters are left to it and some of the threads end up sounding like the Scousers “victims are us” with no opposing views tolerated.

I'm genuinely sorry if you feel you're the victim of pile on's.

One of the issues the usual posters on this thread have is...that when challenged to come up with a genuinely positive counter to their arguments,it's usually based on factual inaccuracies or whataboutery.

He genuinely believes he doesn’t post anything provocative and can’t believe that anyone could have views different to his, whilst being a mardarse.

Not a great combo and is probably best to simply ignore him to prevent having the same argument repeatedly.

Don’t you think it a little bit strange that nobody ever puts up counter arguments on these politics threads.
Like I said earlier, if the likes of you reflect Joe Public, you have nothing to fear from who ever gets chosen as the leader because they are not going to be there in 2 years time.
