Who should be the next leader of the Tory party?

If your ignoring me, which is fine, why bother posting.
Don’t you think it a little bit strange that nobody ever puts up counter arguments on these politics threads.
Like I said earlier, if the likes of you reflect Joe Public, you have nothing to fear from who ever gets chosen as the leader because they are not going to be there in 2 years time.
Put up an argument instead of a whine and you might get a counter argument.

Ok how’s this one.
Labour go in to the next Election with Starmer and moderate policies so they have a genuine chance of winning.
Starmer then elects a Centre based Cabinet.
I think we can agree there are a lot of posters on here with left wing views who would feel uncomfortable with that.
What happens if the Cabinet then adopt moderate policies for example, on pay restraint and don’t allow inflation busting pay rises to allow catch up for what the workers thought they should have had under the Tories.
Where do the left go if they find there is very little change from when the Tories were in power and Labour say the wish list from the left is unaffordable without going in to debt.
A bit like what happened under Blair / Brown where policies were moderate.
Would you be prepared to accept there may be very little difference on a personal basis due to affordability or do you demand a shift in policies to the left to be funded by a rise in taxes for everyone and further borrowing to pay for an increase in current spending.

Some reasonable points. I’ll respond properly later when I have more time.

i watched that this morning , car crash , why the idiots like her i dont know , would be good for labour though as she is so light on actual policies, it is funny
She will show up to a debate in her navy uniform. The old fart Tory members will vote for her for giving them their first erection in 30 years.

Because a lot of centrist tories got purged by the party and as a voter base they swallowed the not insignificant amount of people that used to vote for UKIP. Just look at the debate the other day and compare that to Cameron’s conservatives.

Would you class someone like Dominic Grieve as “left leaning”?
And UKIP had swallowed the BNP votes.

Just imagine a fully staffed NHS, no waiting lists, no ambulance waits, teachers and GPs not quitting in droves.
Welcome to the "Blair/ Brown Centre".

Don't you want that sort of "very little difference"?
