Who started the ridiculous notion that City were better without Haaland ?

Some on the Caf are still insisting that Alvarez is the better fit for us, to be fair they are pissed off that we have both and would have happily taken either given the chance.

Ha the slightly less inebriated and marginally less ridiculous version of Aldo.

If you want to simplify ‘better’ to mean goals scored. Then we have six games to score 16 goals to better last years tally.

Less than that then I suppose you could make an argument for not been better with him.

Our playing style is now hugely different. I think too many are conflating different and "not as good".

But, in my opinion, we are infinitely better with the Viking. In terms of a functioning machine, and the sum of its parts, we're as close to perfect as we're ever likely to see. 50 goals and a reasonable chance at a treble is all the attestation I need for that.
We're a lot better team with him in it now than we were with him in at the beginning of the season.

Earlier this season our style wasn't as aesthetically pleasing to watch as previous seasons but Haaland was scoring goals even though he looked isolated for large parts of several games. He looks like he's happier now he's settled in and getting a lot more involved in games. He's assisted a few nice goals too and he'll only get better when he's fully integrated to how we play.
