Yeah. Thanks for spelling correction, my memory of this is over 60 years old! He used to go around on a thing that looked like a bar of Palmolive soap, plotting to take over the world. I loved the pure evil. I was disappointed when he did not appear in this week’s episode.
Dan Dare had a sidekick with a lanky accent— was he called Digby?
The writing in the Eagle was far superior to most comics.

The creator of Dan Dare came form Audenshaw. There's a blue plaque on a house near the trough.
