Having thought about things and reviewed the squad these are the five signings I expect at City next year.

Sagna to replace Richards
Mangala to replace Lescott
Pogba to replace Barry and be a long term replacement for Yaya
Fernando to add further strength to the midfield and replace Garcia.
Zuculini

Anyone else will be a bonus.
Can't see us buying 3 centre mids unless we were planning on loaning zuculini out

Can't see us replacing Garcia with Fernando. Pogba, maybe, but Fernando to Garcia would be a lateral swap.

Zuculini will eventually take over for him, though.

Not to mention that Huws could have a bench/EDS share role next year.

Definitely need to bring in Fernando or someone similar.

Think tonight's game ends differently if Matic was eligible, which of course he will be next year. We need an all-out stopper in midfield if the situation calls for it.

So far the team will look like

Hart
Zabaleta Mangala Kompany Kolarov
Yaya Fernandinho
Silva Nasri
Aguero Dzeko

?
Sagna Demichelis Nastasic Clichy
Garcia Fernando
Navas Milner
Jovetic Negredo

If you believe the press.

This Zuculini guy might nor even sign for us, wouldnt really calculate with him until he signed..
There were actual quotes from the president of his club confirming the move. Don't see it not happening.

Edit: City Watch are reporting "Olé reports City have NOT signed Zuculini, despite having the option to for £1.2m. Racing, a selling club, want the deal to go through." "However, Zuculini's form for Racing has slumped and Argentine reports say City may now ditch the deal and not sign the midfielder."

I expect a couple of center backs, Malanga seems likely and possibly Caulker too with Cardiff looking likely for relegation, or that Lascalles at Forest. If Micah goes we need a new right back, can see us making a bid for Kyle Walker actually but Spurs are almost impossible to deal with so may not be possible.

Garcia seemed on his way out but not so sure now, if he does then Fernando will be in, would give Rodwell more time as he's potentially very good as a box to box types and home grown if he can stay clear of injuries. Unless Everton are open to Rodwell + Barry swap for Barkley.

New backup Goalie, home grown would be a bonus. Ruddy if Norwich go down? Alex McCarthy at Reading is getting some good reviews, and Wayne Hennessey is surprisingly second choice to Speroni at Palace

Would like to see another creative midfielder to help rotate with Silva, Nasri, comfortable on the ball and happy in a couple of positions. Lallana would be a preference personally but can see his price topping £20m if others get involved, can probably get cheaper abroad is the truth.

Going to be difficult with the world cup, not much time to do deals before then and clubs will keep hold as long as possible in case a couple of stellar performance double a players value.

Ultimately, if it ain't broke... couple of tweaks here and there, but our squad will benefit more from having this year together. Next year if we keep our four strikers I can see us targeting even more league goals.
Barry is going on a free and Rodwell is probably worth about £5 million but you want a swap for Barkley.

Don't think we've been linked with him so it's just a quick question....

I've been having a root about and there is an article on mundo deportivo saying,Napoli player Zuniga, has 2 clauses in his contract,1 for barca at 15 million and 1 for any other club at 30 million, can they do that?
Yep, you can also have release clauses that can only be activated by foreign clubs or in Porto and Benfica's cases "If anyone but those cunts offers a sum greater than, or equal to, the sum of e--"

Mangala has a great potential , but he's not ready to be in the starting lineup . He is still very immature, makes stupid decisions, get suspended . On the other hand, in Portugal, we have a great center back- Garay. City should buy him!

About Fernando, he's very good , but has a bad passing.

The price that city would pay for getting both Mangala and Fernando would be surreal. When you negotiate with porto, you always pay more than you should.
