Still with 22 goals over the season he was chelseas top scorer.

Doesn't really matter he scored them.

Most of his goals were in the shitty Europa League against the likes of Basel, Steaua Bucharest and Rubin Kazan and against Championship sides in the Capital One Mickey Mouse Cup.


8 goals in 36 in the Prem despite having virtually no competition the entire season is woeful. Wouldn't want him if they offered him to us for free.

Of course it matters. City aspire to win the Premier League and advance far in the Champions League. Torres' ability to score against Europa League competition doesn't help them achieve either of those goals.
