watched a documentary on Messi and it showed him growing up in Argentina and he used to dominate the kids on the streets, they had a goal drawn out on the wall and he had that natural ability back then.
He was also sensationally talented at Newell's as a kid, and he would have moved to Boca I believe if they paid for his growth hormone treatment which he needed, and Boca refused so, so his family moved to Barcelona to get him a trial and Barca took 1 look at him in a training match and signed him on and paid for his treatment, that's why he's there, it's hardly like he's had a privelaged easy pampered background and not earnt where he is so the argument of playing for shit clubs is totally ridiculous.
With the money Real have spent it's their own fault if they're not as good as Barca, and Messi has outclassed Ronaldo in every El Classico, if Ronaldo was that good he'd make his own goals and steal the show in them like Messi does.

No you don't, put Ronaldo into Portugal and Portugal still win fuck all. Ronaldo played for UNITED and REAL MADRID, 2 of the best clubs in the world, it doesn't make him any better.
Also Barca were dodgy under Rijkaard and Messi still delivered to the point where Barca fobbed Deco and Ronaldinho off and built the attack around him, he is that good.
As for what Messi's better, well you're just unbelievably ignorant if you're asking that, Messi's also played less games and has double the assists Ronaldo has, PROVING he will still be great in another team because he can play as a team player.
Finally Xavi and Iniesta don't contribute THAT much to actual assists, Messi creates a lot of his own goals, and he gets kicked to shit every week and still gets up and gets on with it.

Ronaldo wasn't that good when he came to United, I don't believe he was as purely talented as Messi at the same age.
Also I was proving that Messi hasn't just been the privelaged, never been tested Barca kid, which is the only argument the pro-Ronaldo lot are coming out with.
You can't put Messi and average in the same sentence. Messi is different class with the ball at his feet as pisses on every other player. Having said that I don't think he would be able to do what Ladyboy did over here a few seasons back. Ladyboy gives a team that little bit more goal threat and work rate. Individually Messi is better but I would actually prefer Ladyboy (the player not the person) in City's team.

His team went 1-0 down early on at home too Villareal then he scored too make it 1-1
They then got caught again by Villareal and went 2-1 down, Ronaldo then pops up with a headed too make it 2-2.
80 minutes on the clock and its still 2-2 with Villareal playing every man behind the ball, he then scores again for his hatrick 3-2 Madrid.
They then bring on Kaka and Ronaldo sets him up too make it 4-2. He has kept Madrid in the title race tonight. How people dismiss him so easily is stupid.
