When one of your midfield slots must go to Barry, Milner or Vieira, with the other two your backup options then the simple answer is no. Thus there is plenty of room for improvement.

Mancini bought 2 of those options.

Not sure what your point is. Vieira was hardly "bought". He was signed on a free for his experience more than anything and as a squad player. He does both of those well. But its hardly like Mancini said "we need a midfielder, and PV is at the top of my list - go get him". Remember he had barely been in England when we signed him.

Milner was blatantly a Marwood buy which he probably blessed.

I'd hate it. DOn't want Kaka. Get Pastore and Luiz in instead. And the team is complete. Ade, RSC, SWP, Bridge, Jo and Lescott out.
Why on earth would we want to get rid of Lescott? He is an excellent squad defender, whom we will need in the FA Cup and Europa League as well as providing valuable cover for Kompany and/or Kolo. Have you heard about him complaining about the rotation policy?

He said that he might have to change club to save his international career for england...not a long time ago. Idk, my opinion keep him.

I agree mate, he is a decent player, likely to get goals and can cover 2 positions, was playing well last season before injury and has played well this when given a chance; also assuming Bridge, SWP, Ade, Rocky leave the squad will not be overly big

we really don't need more, we need to start getting rid. Let's not get all spoiled now ;)
Selling, not buying, should be our priority now.

Our wage bill is far too high and now would be an ideal to get rid of some of the dead wood who could jeopardise our season i.e. Adebayor

Kaka please. Don't underestimate his marketing value, he'd have City being taken even more seriously. And footballing wise, he's still got enough to be back-up to Silva, at the very bloody least. I think a six month loan swap with Ade/Kaka is honestly not unrealistic and that's what we should shoot for.

I expect Kaka would have a bit of a problem backing up anyone.
