anyone know how many blues are travelling to barcelona and what area is best for a city party ive heard off a few of the scum that an area called las ramblas is where the away fans all go drinking in the daytime any opinions?

Should we be playing this match? My concern is that our players will not be fully fit for wolves on the saturday. Im guessing that hughes will field a strong squad. Yes, it is definetly a good game to be playing but shouldnt we have tried to arrange it to pre-season rather than before the second game of the season?

The players are still trying to get to full fitness, so if anything this game should help them prepare for saturday. We still have 2 and half days before Wolves, which is plenty of time to recover. Remember, if we were in Europe, we would have to deal with this most weeks anyway.

True. We were going to be playing the blue dippers midweek. Get banged about less against Barca than the horrible blue scousers!

I am sure it will effectively be treated as a pre season game with less than a full team to start with and plenty of substitutes used. Wolves is a lot more important.
