One game, let's not forget how the clowns were shaping around him.

West Ham targeted that side more with great effect. Took a few tweaks to stablise and get an important point. Could of nicked a win if Mahrez didn't miss the pen.

Personally I thought he was the main reason we won the league last season the way he performed in last game against Villa was brilliant

As impact sub defintely but as regular I am not so sure he is what Pep was looking for in a full-back

Didn't look too clever in last season's title run against West Ham (hence why he didn't get many starts under Pep) and wouldn't want to stick around being a bit part player at City (can't blame him for that).

Looked great against Villa.

Sadly he wanted to go and I think we were right to accept that, the problem as always he left for a fee City would never get quoted for a player of similar profile and experience.

Was said we got a great fee for him, it wasn't. Cucurilla went for twice as much despite being half the player and having nowhere near the accomplishments.

He did a great job for us but after great service if he wants to go then let him go and let’s wish him good luck.
Gabriel also did very well but was in last year of contract and we had signed Haaland and Alvarez.

Funny how players get better by their absence - he was a decent wall to pass off for the better players, he had no pace so could only play against the teams that didn't have a pacey right winger and it wasn't very often he'd beat a man and get a cross in.

Managed to beat his man and get a cross in when it really, really mattered, though, didn't he?
