Europa League Quarter final,Taking on the current holders of Europa Trophy in February, FA Cup Trophy in the bag followed by nail-biting 3rd round defence of said trophy, nail-biting 5th finish followed by nail-biting 4th finish in Premiership, currently top of pile going into January after difficult period of fixtures, United, Liverpool and Porto to come.....

A couple of errors there.........Hughes got us to the first Carling cup semi (though was sacked before playing said semis). And we finished 3rd last season not 4th.
Mancini's a good manager, and we're in a fantastic position going into the 2nd half of the season - it's never easy to win everything, even Fergie has never done the domestic treble! I'm hoping we do!!!!!! Bring 'em on!!!!!!

Ones i gave my upinion about Mancini and I was atacked like an enemy.
I still would want to say:
Yesterday when I say the team (basic team)
Nasri- who has it very difficult at this moment.
de Jong - this year hardly played at all.
Yaya - who has to bring us a creative game and not on a position.(1ste half), he is a good player with strenght and speed, but is not very creative. I respect him a lot.
Dzeko - as a lonley striker.

I knew that it would not work for MC, and a lot of supporters blame the players for the game of yesterday.
I thinnk that not the players are to blame, but it had to do with Mancini's desitions.
I did not see a lot of individuel misstakes, accept for the misstake of the desitions of Mancini.

Squad rotation is essential.

Hopefully tomorrow will vindicate RM (10 straight home wins this season!)

RM played his "C" side yesterday, as Baconface would have done.

Only difference is they get the luck and we don't seem to (also they would have won it 1.0!)
Think it was better than a c side to be honest mate!! Bottom line we were just not good enough!! Especially in front of goal and in the final third.

Mancini underestimated Sunderland and overestimated his 2nd stringers.

IMHO any team needing to win a game (as we did) should start with it's best 11 for that game. Get the game won and then rest the main guys and bring on the 2nd/3rd stringers.

My general thoughts:

1. Dzeko is definitely not good enough. He is one dimensional, needs to many chances to score and doesn't graft for the team when we're not in possession (remember Tevez anyone?)

2. Kolarov is definitely not good enough. I've given the guy long enough to 'come good' but the simple fact is he wont because he hasn't got it in him.

3. We didnt know what to do without Silva.

This post is hilarious when you realize that those overrated "second stringers" pretty much dominated Sunderland. When Aguero and Silva came on we didn't really do much better, did we? The almighty first choicers had the same problem as the losers: no penetration into the final third because Sunderland parked the bus. Go fucking figure.

20-odd efforts on goal and none of them go in, nothing to do with rotation.

how many saves did he make not very many

well it is to do with rotation as the player he left out (not even on the bench) balotelli would have probably converted one of the chances dzeko had. so yes , it is down to rotation.
although im not having a go at bobbby but i wish we would just play our strongest team in all league games.

if we are going to win the league then you need rotation & the side we put out was more than good enough to beat sunderland. i just wish we had more urgency at times & we wast a lot of time passing square or accross the back even when we are still at nill nill, when your in front its OK but anyway Mancini is doing a fantastic job & we will win this league
