I want Mourinho as i think he is an upgrade on Bob and will take us to the next level but i dont sit here, misty eyed with thoughts on him being our Fergiescum, i only care that we keep moving forward as a team and as a club.

Mourinho would go and we would replace him just like any other player or manager.

Do we really want our own Fergiescum - an arrogant, overbearing bastard who baits referees and starts arguments in an empty room? That is what we would get with Mourinho. He would take the side forward to the next level but NOT the club. No, no, no. We would be hated like the scum are now and rightly so.

Nor would I, but as those clubs (with the exception of Chelsea) aren't looking for new managers, I don't see why we wouldn't be a reasonably attractive destination. After all, Mancini came here didn't he, and Sven?

Just a personal thing but I would lose sleep because with Mourinho it would no longer be "my" club. We have never been a nasty cynical lot at any stage of our history. Shite sometimes, wankers never.

I don't mind us being disliked because we got loadsamoney or if we dominated everything. that's the green eyed monster for you. If we were hated for acting like the scum that would bother me.

Add Barca and Real as well to that list. We have money but we have not got the respect yet and its that a major name like Pep or Mou would bring.

Now is the time to push on.

Continued failures, especially on a European level will do more damage and make it harder i agree.

Like i said, im confident that with senior management sorted, we will get our man should they feel the need to move Bob on.
