He gave cover and options on the right, almost like having 12 players.

This gave Silva great license without leaving us exposed.

Not only that, but if Garcia stepped up and shows why we bought him and cements the DM position as his own then that would also allow Yaya more freedom to assist Silva as well.

That for me is what has been lacking in our midfield, the sight of seeing Yaya having to sit back and defend is not what we need (and Bobby knows this too). But his hands are tied due to the fact that garcia has not yet lived up to his billing. If Garcia can knuckle down in December and start performing then it will solve this issue imo. If not then the board are going to have to listen to bobby and get him a DM that is proven.

Say we fail to win today and then we were to lose at the swamp - two VERY conceivable results. We could be 11 or 12 points behind if you count the possible loss at the swamp. i.e. GAME OVER.

We cannot afford to go into the swamp game with any significant deficit.

Yes, the last goal was lucky, but it only balanced out the one they scored earlier that was wrongly ruled out for offside.

We were beaten last week not by bad luck, but by what has been our downfall all season - an inability to turn dominance in possession into goals. Also sloppy defending. You can't blame our defeat on a fluke when we fail to take our chances and they actually scored 4 against us.

The aspect that's killing us at the moment is the scum consistently winning away from home. Defeats for them are obviously nice but we need them to be drawing a few more away games.

It is wise to be thinking we must go to the swamp and win to have any chance? Er, no.

Far better to go there and know that either we are in the box seat already, or that win lose or draw, we are still in contention.

That is why we have to stay in touch and cannot afford to carry on dropping points away as we have been doing.
