Jose-he loves losing semi finals doesn't he...

Unlike Bobby

When did Mancini ever get to a semi in the CL?

Here's some interesting stats for what's labelled here as a failed tenure at Madrid for Jose.

City - Fa Cup
Madrid - CDR Cup

City - League
Madrid - League

City - Final of FA Cup
Madrid - Final of CDR Cup

In all 3 seasons above Madrid have matched us yet they have performed better in Europe and collected an extra £50m (ish) than us in prize money.-- Wed May 01, 2013 9:25 am --

If he spends big in the summer and our CL campaign is as poor as this season he'll go.

I think Mancini knows this and it's his last crack at it. If he fails he picks up the phone and walks into a job at Monaco. Problem is it leaves us in a stick predicament with a change of manager and no pre-season to bed in his methods. We would adapt and progress but how much pace will it take off our pursuit of regaining the league?

And how much do you think City winning last day of the season contributed to the new huge TV deal ?? sorry, did I say huge...I meant Massive tv deal.

Mourinho is a fantastic manager and I liked him a lot when he was at Chelsea but, he looked a shadow of his former self next to Klopp.

What you saw last night in my opinion was a man without his mojo. He looked like a singer who couldn't get the audience to join in.

He needs a different audience and he most of all he needs to take stock of his tenure at Madrid and realise that he could have handled some things better than he has done.

I expect him to excel in his next role.

No plan B just like Bob.. ;)

Did we get to keep all the t.v deal money to ourselves then? If not then moot point. Wigans late run last year was a good selling point too.

The point is as you well know, CL is vital and Jose has been in two semis the last 2 seasons where we haven't qualified. Really is that simple. Chelsea were there or abouts too and the whole world know of Inter and Porto. Not quite the failure some make out.

As for Plan B, what a load of bollocks. He called the Modirc sub which was pivotal v the rags and last night he mixed thinsg up again and the team rebounded with 2 goals and arguably should've had a penalty. No exactly staring at defeat and not changing things was it?

To be honest, TCM, that's more of a positive on Klopp than a negative on Mourinho.

Real Madrid still became the first team to beat Dortmund in the CL this year, which rather than making Mourinho look good, it makes Klopp look even better. They also brushed aside a team that leads Manchester City by 14pts in their domestic league in the 2nd round, as well as demolishing an Ajax side (costing less than Edin Dzeko) that happened to "brush aside" Manchester City as well.

Madrid were certainly out thought in the 1st leg, I'll give you that. However, they weren't out though in the 2nd leg. Dortmund just happened to have Hummels & Subotic in brilliant form and benefitted from some woeful Madrid finishing in the opening 15 minutes.

Why are you saying all this stuff, sjk?

The fact that Mourinho lost his seventh Champions League semi final last night means that Mancini is obviously the right man for Manchester City's future.

I'm amazed you can't see the obvious logic.

this broadcast, Chile version BBC. This news 99% accuracy on info.

Only confirm news leaked. I know that Sanchez news first leaked from 24horas.cl - Sanchez to Barca also MP going Real madrid & Malaga first leaked from 24horas.cl.

Interesting.
What news is this BDJ? Sanchez signing? Fernandinho signing Mancini resigning??

I've been told that 24Horas in Chile is "very serious media" ala the BBC, they're reporting it as fact. They said roughly "strong rumours in recent days are now fact" and remember Pellegrini is Chilean.

and

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.24horas.cl/deportes/futbol-internacional/manuel-pellegrini-llega-a-un-acuerdo-de-palabra-con-el-city-521795" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.24horas.cl/deportes/futbol-i ... ity-521795</a>

He looks like the owner of a Mediterranean time-share development complex.

Dortmund could of easily scored 4 or 5 themselves lastnight
Nice of mourinho to blame Webb though for not going through, classy
I will agree that klopp is probably on another level to mourinho now.

I don't know, mate.

I think it's because I'm a closet rag.

Or it could be because I'm a closet blue.

Or that I just detest Mancini.

I've had that many things thrown at me, I'm not sure why I can't see such obvious logic.

More the fool me, I guess.

No. Ramos was a thug last night. However, that's because he is a **** and always has been a ****. Even in his Sevilla days. He's not just suddenly become a **** because Mourinho is in charge. You do know that, don't you?
