Why we will win the league!

If Bayern knock them out of Europe, they will have seven games remaining after the international break. If we get past Schalke and Swansea, we could have as many as 13 (not including FA Cup or CL finals). Be nice if we could avoid the Wolves/Rags winner in the semis and get another favorable draw in the CL QF

I want Spurs if they get through, they didn’t look good against Arsenal on Saturday, we could put them out over two legs.

I'm absolutely loving this season , keep going one game at a time and see where it takes us, whatever happens our squad has been brilliant all season bar a couple of games , they are doing us proud ,as for people cacking it ,grow a set and enjoy probably the best team/squad and manager ever in the top English league.

We can only take 1 game at a time, with players dropping like flies pep will have to juggle the squad like never before and use some kids in the FA Cup till and if we get to wembley in the semi final

You'll change your mind after 20 minutes of the first leg when we've had 2 red cards and 3 penalties given against us for fuck all.
Probably but that wouldn’t be the end of the world I’d take the league over the champions league

Absolutely, it's like a weight has been lifted. I don't have to do any more mental gymnastics, crystal ball gazing or worrying about their games. Spot on about about Carragher as well: I can't think of a single manager or player who has won a league who would swap our place for Liverpool. Can you imagine Pep, Ferguson, Mourinho or even Wenger claiming that being a few points behind going into the run-in, having been 7 points ahead, would be the preferred scenario? Utter nonsense.

True. Although, back in 11/12 the situation was comparable at this stage of the season. Except that it was United that had just taken a one point lead over City. And, as we know, they went on to stretch that lead to 8 points before we pulled it back. We currently have the momentum, as United did at this stage in 11/12, but there's still plenty of time for twists and turns.

I'm very much in two minds about Liverpool's game at Bayern. I naturally want Liverpool to lose but it will give them a significant advantage if they are beaten and we go on to reach the SF's of the CL and FA Cup.

What would have happened in 11/12 if we didn't have a direct game against the rags left to play?

Great point, the dippers cannot directly effect what we do.
If we keep getting results we win the league.
I would quite like the dippers to come second on a record number of points and only one defeat.
I think it would break them.

Psychologically it might be the end of them if they go out, they’ve looked shaky for weeks
