We’re looking leggy though, at some point it’ll catch up with us, go out of the CL next week and the fatigue factor lessens dramatically
We will do well to lose to Schalke by 2 goals. They have to win 3-2 to take it to extra time. 1-0, 2-1 are not enough. I cannot see us losing by two goals. And we only look leggy because of the exerts in the past week. This week off will help get energy levels back. It is better to be mentally strong and lack a bit of physical energy than being the other way round. Liverpool are looking mentally fatigued and that is what is costing them in their recent run of draws.

The most ridiculous comments I hear from opposing fans is 'I'd rather be chasing the top team - as the pressure's always on the team that's leading'. That is the biggest load of illogical bullshit you could ever wish to hear hear! Let's break that comment down logically, i.e. we prefer to be chasing, because the pressure's off - however, the minute we move above that team we're gonna be fooked - because we're now the leading team, and consequently the pressure's now on us. Some of these 'excuses' to justify trailing behind the leading team really do defy belief!
It's bonkers, isn't it? Carragher said this on Sky Sports when Liverpool had them back-to-back draws and I thought it had a desperation to it. If anyone club was saying this they'd be mocked for having a small club mentality.

I personally feel much, much better now we are in front. Before the Everton game I had this creeping thought that if they're not going to drop points here, when are they going to? Time was running out and I was looking at their fixture list trying to find someone we could hope to do us a favour.
Knowing now that if we win our games we win the league is a much nicer feeling.
Don't know why anyone would listen to Carragher on this matter as he's got 0 league titles. He literally doesn't know what he's talking about.

that's a fair point.
Paddy Power has us at 1/3 and the dippers at 9/4 to win the league.
Personally I would rate the odds at about 4/5 City and 6/4 dippers.
And with the odds you would offer you'd very quickly go bust!
