Why we will win the league!

What about the 3 games we lost against shite teams after leading in them all?
Your supposed to be citytillyoudie. Think about 28 wins from 34 league games. That follows 100 points a season. What this team has done is unprecedented and will not be coloured by one game unless you let it be.

Why Liverpool won't win the league:

"They dared to dream of an historic double but the brave heroes in red were cruelly denied their chance by team after team laying down to Peps blue mercenaries. A gruelling run deep into the latter stages of the champions league finally saw the plucky underdog warriors defeated by veterans of the Dr Cugat school of medicine. The Strike Force Three, ably supported by Virgil Van Colossus, defeated all before them, winning point after point, heart after heart, writing myth and legend before coming short to the stark reality of cold hard economics. Whilst Klopps brave heroes fought for the salt of the earth citizens of L4 they were ultimately overwhelmed by the ruling elite of a nation state that counts slavery and terrorism as national pastimes. Against such overwhelming odds Klopp and his band of merry men endured to the last with true grit and determination, only rocks and bottles as a defence to the tactical fouling of Thugandinho who didn't even get a yellow card. Nevertheless with good humour, and supported by the proceeds of the Coutinho sale, Klopp and his real men (with the honest endeavour of James Milner, creative talisman Jordan Henderson and freestanding Mohammed 'Mo' Salah) have vowed to go again and do it, not for the vain and obvious attempts of glory like titles, but for the fans, the people. This is a battle for the soul of the game that everyone except for those not turning up at the Etihad dreams that will only have one winner - justice."

Now I sit back and await job offers from all the media outlets
I'm looking at RAWK now, which thread did you c&p that from?

I was making a point of him blaming the penalty again. It's all I hear....what if Mahrez had have scored that penalty? Getting sick of it mate. If we lose the league it's not just because of a shite penalty.

When the teams were announced yesterday for the Cardiff game I’m still astonished that Klopp is able at this stage of the season to pick his best eleven. Other than the odd suspension or small injury these key players have always been available. This may be because you’re not in the domestic cups but with your “Blitzkrieg” style of play I’m surprised that their high intensity play doesn’t lead to the odd injury. Or is it down to luck?
Think the reason is the players are playing in conservative mode from the past few months or to be honest, except the Arsenal game, I have never seen the lads go all out for more than 15-20 minutes.. VVD and AB have ensured that it is possible to win games with a single goal margins, earlier, a win was not confirmed until it was up 2-0..

I think the rag players wont be as bothered as the fans who wins the league
And some of the fans might change their mind once the game starts bit like when City beat Leeds in 92 lots didn't mind a Leeds win but were all behind the Blues once the game started

As you guys know better than I do, with united, there is a lot of bitterness among the supporters. It was SAF who said we would want to knock Liverpool out of their f*** perch, and so he did. Lot of times, there were moments when United expected favours from Liverpool in a title race and Liverpool were not even in frame for top 4 back then. Liverpool were playing Chelsea and Stevie said Liverpool is a big and ambitious club and we dont gift opponent easy points and they have to play out of skin bla bla bla and on 20th minute gave a meek return pass to Drogba who scored and Chelsea won 3-0 and probably the title too.

I still say, the United game for you guys and Huddersfield for us are the easiest of the remaining fixtures for we both. If there is any test, its in the remaining fixtures.. Good luck

Liverpool have had a remarkable season but are level with City in part because of some repeated moments of good fortune. I don't think you are as good as City but you may end up winning the league.

Suits us Liverpool keep winning in my opinion.

I don't think it's a good mindset to be in if they drop points and we know we can potentially afford to draw.

Rafa will be running on the pitch and putting it in the net himself it comes to it, not a chance they are going to be going out of their way to do us a favour. We just have to deal with our own games, I can't even look at any of their games and think what if.

Correct. Newcastle might as well have Ian Rush, Phil Thompson, John Tosak and John Alrdridge giving the team talk

To match a team full of Champions like City has with probably the best manager, we definitely need rub of the green on more than one occasions to stand a chance.
No one can play like city right now, not even Barcelona.. I have never seen sides relinquish the match even before it has began as they do it against City. That speaks volumes about their skill, intensity and mastery, when passes are hit, short or long, its almost done with arrow like accuracy and stick to shoes like magnets..

Like you keep saying about the missed penalty at Anfield, we also have the goal-line clearance by one of the defenders at Etihad could make all the difference.. of course as a Liverpool fan, I just hope for another glimmer of hope, and by that I also mean a game going on level terms till 60th minute at least.. when it mattered most, City is scoring in first 4-9 minutes and killing off the games..

Personally, I think the 3 games vs Spurs have put us into gear now (cheat mode for the RAWK lurkers). Beat United and it'll crush Liverpools spirit, that's where Liverpool lost the title IMO while we were winning a cup. Champions usually beat their title rivals along the way which we have done.

Morrison openly declared he wanted Liverpool to win the league and played like a knob, but as Liverpool haven't won f all in 29 years I bet there aren't many players who follow them, my guess is the majority are secret man united fans as they dominated the spoils as they chose their school yard heroes.
My thinking is there are plenty of Morrisons playing against us in our last 4 with an agenda that Liverpool mustn't win and only city can save them being protrayed as not worthy of sharing a pitch with such greats.
We are more than capable of seeing this over the line without any help from anyone, but we will find teams that also want a city win rather than a dipper one.

I don't think theres ever been a team with fewer injuries than the dippers. They've been amazingly lucky. Yes they've been fantastic and have virtually no weakness in their first eleven but its the lack of injuries that have really helped them. Their squad hasn't been tested at all.
