Why we will win the league!

I view Liverpool more as a thorn in our side this season.
Who on Bluemoon were concerned about them last season?

*waits with baited breath as tumble weed rolls by*

This season they are merely the broadcasting media's bargaining chip to stop Manchester City.

The past few seasons it has been us and another vying for the title. The press, Sly. Talkshite etc, don't actually give a toss about our opponents. They just want to see them getting one over on us. It's become a new sport: "who can stop Manchester City?"

I think Liverpool will score early on and news will filter through to us at the Amex which could cause anxiety but in reality this shouldn’t matter. The task at hand does not change. City need to focus on Brighton and Brighton alone.
Why would it matter to us if Liverpool scored early.
We win the game tomorrow we win the league.
Liverpool are irrelevant

The players have chased this down with big big wins when required when no other result will do Liverpool at home , Utd away ,Spurs at home not to mention difficult away wins at Palace and Burnley .
Right now Liverpool do not matter it’s simple beat Brighton and win the league worry about Watford next week
The squad know what’s required and will get the job done

Up the blues
Correct.
This is arguably a greater effort than last season.

I think they are irrelevant full stop.

Fans who use the oppositions bus as a battering ram and the history they have with violence , unruly , lacking in civility etc etc.

It doesn't matter to me what happens tomorrow or in their match against Spurs.

Of course I want us to win the title and we deserve to win it this season given what we have had to overcome with injuries , poor decisions a much heavier schedule and the fact that Liverpool will never get another season like the one they had this year for the next generation and beyond and had every decision that could have gone either way go their way and if Salah and Firmino are still at the club next year they will have to change their style to avoid the wrath of VAR especially in the penalty box.

This is a once off for Liverpool if they come up empty handed this year it will be a while till they win anything significant again.
2014 was said to be a one off, it proved to be a five-yearly hit. Maybe that is what this is, watch out 2024 city, the scousers are gunnin’ far yea!
