Why we will win the league!

I think the reality of a Liverpool quadruple is huge, they have a confident, deep, functioning squad and a fanbase with belief, not to mention their media friends willing it on.

I feel sick at the prospect and I hope to god they can be stopped but for me the moment Pep started tinkering with Raheem Sterling as a starter we lost all control of our football matches, I am not saying it's entirely on Raz, of course not but for me we no longer controlled the ball, our games became ping pong football and I could see our players start to doubt their positioning and roles within the team.

Raz doesn't hold the ball well and the turnovers became so common, add to that the fact Stones and Dias have hardly been paired together and we've had Laporte who struggles with any kind of pace or ball over the top, it's really created the perfect storm for us dropping so many points.

I know my opinion will not be popular with some blues but that's how I see it. I literally gave up on the title during the Raheem starting period, I saw the team drain in belief.

Yes we can recover and we can stop them as we all know we are better than them but Pep has to get back to basics and we need Dias to return ASAP with Foden left, KDB false 9 and Gundogan back with Bernardo in the middle. Will he do it I'm not so sure

I wonder if CL is the club's priority and this has a conscious or subconscious effect?

One thing's for sure. As far as the PL is concerned we need to snatch back the initiative by winning games. It's stating the bleeding obvious to say the Liverpool match is now key - but so for that matter, is the Burnley game and every other.

I think a 7 game run to win the title is on the card. Stay relaxed boys.

Fernandihno will call a players only meeting soon and this will all get to sorted.

We have been here before haven't we Blues ?

I see no reason why we cannot repeat past achievements.

Also another few factors to factor in to the equation from here on in

We have not been at our own high standards for a while now, blowing hot and cold. This will not last forever before we hit some consistency again. That could start as soon as the next game.

Liverpool have been able to play each game with no real pressure. Zero expectation by their Media darlings.

Now it is expected that they will go on to win the League, now comes the real pressure.

With no room for error on our part, this might be the kick up the arse we need to go on and win the League.

Also i would like Pep to mix it up occasionally from here on in if he has to.

Great manager, that is beyond doubt with what he has done for us.

I can not be the only one who gets frustrated with the air of inevitability when we play shit sides like Spurs/Palace/Southampton who park the Bus. We just carry on hoping for that moment of genius to change the game. It rarely happens in these types of games and we drop points. Why the fuck dont we have a Plan B like bring on Delap for 20 minutes, or another player for high Balls in to the box ?.It isn't pretty, but as and needs must. These teams no we play one way, and one way only. That Palace game was screaming for a change of approach. They are shit at defending set pieces, yet we never really tried to exploit this. The one time we did La Porte should have buried a free Header later on.

No doubt Wolves will set up like Palace did.

Taking a look at Liverpool fixtures, after us,

Villa A (Gerrard in charge so a likely walkover)

United H (As shit as they are, they now have no distractions. There's no way these cunts will just roll over for them)

Everton H (again, shit but no chance of them giving them an easy game. Fight against relegation, every point could be huge)

Newcastle A (playing some good stuff under Howe and were unlucky not to come away from Chelsea with something. 50k Geordies behind them)

Spurs H (will be fighting for top 4 hopefully. Kane seems to have hit some form and Kulusevski looks a decent player)

Southampton A (not an easy place to go. Do well against the big teams. We'll set up outfit)

Wolves H ( if they go into this game knowing a win will secure them the title, I can imagine Connor coady will do all he can to make sure that happens)

These aren't easy fixtures. Added to that they still have fa cup and champions league games to contend with, I can see them dropping at least 4 points in them games.

Best case scenario tomorrow is that they draw Athletico Madrid or Chelsea tomorrow. A team that will kick them all over the park for 180 minutes and make sure they know they're in a game
