For those that are worried being in cup games has no statistical advantage or disadvantage over future points earned in the league. It’s either not relevant at all or theextra injuries are equally weighted by the confidence remaining in the domestic cups. Being in Europe is a slight disadvantage but it’s about one point.

Them drawing Spurs in quarter finals of the CL would be ace ... and I think they play them in the league in the middle of two QF legs as well (or just around it) ...

Liverpool still have to play Spurs, Chelsea, Wolves, Watford & Everton. This nervous team will drop at least 7 points from these 5 games.

Liverpool = another year and no Premier!

Not alone in hoping that Utd beat them today, but a draw is about as good as we could hope for, in all honesty.

i think Spurs will beat them, they will want to to gain 3 and starve the scousers out of top spot - and Everton will hold them to a draw, which leaves the door wide open.

It's certainly been a season of bated breath. No fat ladies singing just yet though.

The injuries today are a bit of a kick in the teeth but winning a trophy and candlepool dropping points is very nice, need D Silva and especially KDB to hit form, he can’t pass water at the moment.

Looks like 2 weeks for both of them. Good thing is our next games are Westham Bournemouth and Watford. We can do without both of them for these games but need to be on our toes and have no room for complacency.
