I meant a record for a second placed team. The dippers can't finish 2nd on a record number of points.

Our run-in is a bit tougher that Liverpool's. And ManU have suddenly decided to play football.
It's going to be close - but I like our chances.
Should we win - it will be largely down to the brilliance of our manager - the very best - bar none other - in world football.
You missed the match last night then?ManU have suddenly decided to play football.
I haven't finished watching the match... but yeah, ManU's escape v. PSG seemed very lucky from what I've watched in the first half. They didn't play any football last night!
I've not watched the full match yet - PSG seemed very dominant in the part of the first half I've watched so far.You missed the match last night then?
They had 5 shots in the game, 4 of which were on target.I've not watched the full match yet - PSG seemed very dominant in the part of the first half I've watched so far.
But league performances - under OGS - are very impressive.
I'm frankly concerned that we might drop points against ManU when we next meet.
I hope you're correct. They had 5 shots in the game, 4 of which were on target.
The one the PSG right back set up for the first goal.
The ranger from Rashford that Buffon fumbled.
The follow up to that from Lukaku.
The wild shot from range from Dalot that the penalty resulted from (off target).
The penalty.
PSG got in behind (despite a parked bus) time after time and wasted chance after chance, while handing the rags their two best chances before the penalty.
We play this shower of ****s, they've got a slim chance as a result of it being a derby, maybe 1 chance in 7 otherwise we should be hammering them.
They scraped a win v relegation fodder Southampton, scraped a draw v just above relation fodder Burnley both at home.... Painting over the cracks.I hope you're correct.
I'd much rather have faced a Special One led ManU in the upcoming Darby - I'm frankly worried about facing the current ManU side. We're far better - but ManU are no longer pansies.
But they are getting absurd amounts of luck. We will need a good dose of it ourselves to win this league in my opinion. They scraped a win v relegation fodder Southampton, scraped a draw v just above relation fodder Burnley both at home.... Painting over the cracks.

At the end of January, 538 had the probability for Liverpool at 74% while City was at 24%.
Last week it was Liverpool 50% and City 49%.
By Saturday it was City 53% and Liverpool 47%.
On Sunday it became City 65% and Liverpool 35%.
I know UEFA don't much like us, but I can't see them giving us a tie against both clubs ;-)Liverpool and united in the next round be nice
Wouldn't put it past them, if there wasn't the risk of them losing both clubs from the semi finals :)I know UEFA don't much like us, but I can't see them giving us a tie against both clubs ;-)
Lets fucking do it.Won all our games without Fernandinho, can't ask for any more than that.
Ferna, Laporte, KDB and Stones all back after the international break hopefully and we'll have a fully fit squad for the run-in.
Feeling a lot more confident now.
I see what you did there .I know UEFA don't much like us, but I can't see them giving us a tie against both clubs ;-)
