Why we will win the league!

I cannot believe we are a win away from being top considering how lucky the dippers have been this season. That Sissoko chance. He could have passed it into the net... blazes it over. That would have been a huge loss that would shift the title balance over to us quite significantly. Instead 5 mins later Lloris decides to copy Pickford and Speroni and cock up a straight forward bit of goalkeeping.

Positively we aren't having to keep grinding out wins. They are squeaking and it is way too early to be feeling pressure. Beat Cardiff and go top again, then enjoy our Cup and CL games before thinking about the league again. We might still be top with a game in hand when we go to Palace. Or we might be 2pts behind again. Either way, beat Cardiff and Palace and it gives the dippers another tough and high pressure game at home to Chelsea. And how the memories will come back for them at that one!
 
They won't drop a single point in their remaining games. It's now up to us to win every single game. If we do, it will be a staggering achievement. And I believe we can.

I think they will. They've played inconsistently recently, but have benefited from good luck. Sooner or later they might be unlucky.
 
It would be an absolute travesty if they beat City to the title. Yet how much fortune can one team have?

They'll lose at Southampton, and the saints fans will love giving it tight to all their former players.

I think it's naive to expect that to change though. Regardless, we don't need luck - our quality will hopefully see us through.
 
Look at recent form, Spurs have been shite, four defeats and a draw in the last five. Of course they will raise their gsme against us in the CL, but we should be aiming for a draw and two wins at least, and we should have enough to beat the Rags. Really think we need to nail the EPL and FA Cup, and if we make the CL final good enough.

In their last 8 league games they have dropped points against United, West Ham and Everton, and have won the last 2 games (Fulham and Spurs) thanks to late goalkeeper fuck ups. On that basis there is every chance they will drop points.
 
Logic says luck will go against them at some point. They’re just not playing that well. Saints won’t be easy next Friday

You're not offending anyone, rather drawing mockery at best and pity at the worst.
 
Southampton is a potential banana skin. Don’t underestimate their desire to stay up.

But anyway. Look, we will not depend on the dippers’ good luck. The dippers’ bad luck. Offside goals awarded to them. Or anything else. We must — we will — depend on ourselves, and the fact that we are, by some distance, the best all-round team in this league. We win every game, we are champions. We can do that. Definitely.
 
Catastrophists on here tonight. We've a game in hand and can go a point clear! Both teams will drop points before the end of the season. More so Pool in my opinion. Keep calm and believe!
 
We have banana skins, Palace in partucular has been a hard ground for us. They also have banana skins.

I believe we will come out victorious because we are by far the superior team.

If we don't, fair play to them, but they know they've had all the luck as usual.
 
I just do not believe they keep winning and winning and they're so average.
How lucky can they be? I start to fear that they'll steal it in the end.
 
Why is everyone fearing palace we’ve won 3 of our last 4 there the other being a draw. Plus there’s a good chance they’ll be safe by the time we play them
 
Bizzare to think that some posters don't think we can win 7 games on the trot when the team won double that and then some (18) last season.
Have faith.
 
I am not saying we will win it! It’s clearly going to be tight. But if we do - well the moment it is confirmed will be one of the best moments of my life.

Keep the faith blues. Win Wednesday and then it’s 6 wins needed. 5 wins if Liverpool draw just one game. I believe they will draw one.
 
Need their look that's lasted all season to run out. They're a defeat or even a draw away from cracking , you can sense it. Win all the remaining games and it doesn't matter what they do anyway, and that's the target.
