Wigan Away

Really worried for this one. Think we could mess this up and if we do and loose to Tottenham i on't believe we can win the league :( Would be typical city.

Tricky away game, but if we dont win (Silva or no Silva), it will be hugely disappointing. I know its never easy away, but this is one of those away games we should win.

Re: Wigan vs CITY Pre Match Discussion

Spurs is going to be such a big game that i'd probably not risk Silva if not 100%. Course, this is a huge game, too, but Spurs is a real six pointer - a draw, say, here, and three against Spurs would be much more important than the other way round. We might get six, we may win neither, but Spurs is the biggy and we'll absolutely need Silva for that one.

Not sure Balo will be fit enough to play any part.

--------------------------HART---------------------
ZABALETA---RICHARDS---LESCOTT---CLICHY
-----------------------DE JONG--------------------
----MILNER-----------BARRY------------NASRI--
-----------------------------AGUERO-------------
----------------DZEKO---------------------------

Subs: Pantilimon, Savic, Kolarov, Hargreaves, Razak, Johnson, Silva.

Anything could happen here. Our dodgy run might go on, we might smash them, or anything in between. I think it's important to get back to winning and worry about how we play once back in the routine. I'll go for a scrappy 0-1, Dzeko getting back on the scoresheet with a late winner in a drab, undeserved affair.

Tickets arrived this morning, looking forward to this game now, made all the more important with Spuds winning last night. Hopefully with Merlin back and help put the 2 cup defeats behind us and crack on.

We will know tomorrow i guess personally i expect that he will be on the subs bench

I would rest him for Wigan and save him for Spuds - Without him we should have enough to beat the pie eaters

I'm really surprised to see this hasn't sold out yet considering its only £28 and the amount of people who moan they cant build their loyalty points up.

I'm going with my youngest but we're in a recession, 2/3 weeks until payday - What more do you expect.
We've not been in a recession since the last financial quarter of 2009.

Can't wait for Wigan away though. Gonna finish work early (15:30) and drive over there. Might have a bite in that pub near the retail park and head over half an hour before ko. COME ON CITY!

Off topic perhaps, the economy might be "growing" at snail's pace, but real wages have fallen i.e the money left in peoples pockets

Nedum onouha

Surely has to start vs wigan on monday, savic is not ready for first team football as shown his performances against qpr and liverpool and playing richards centre back will mean we lost his attacking threat.
