No, they didn't. They borrowed money by effectively mortgaging it against future TV revenue that never came. That's how they got in the shit. They didn't have money pumped in from the outside. Nor am I saying they deserve to be here just because they are a big club. I am saying that steroid injections into traditionally small clubs has hindered the chances of bigger clubs without the steroid injection and who have more right to be there. If the steroid small club outperforms the steroid big club you throw your hands up and say fair enough but if it's not a level playing field why should I respect that?Cheadle_hulmeBlue said:Leeds had a steroid injection, look where it got them. None of the teams you have mentioned have played well enough to be in the league, and most of those teams are the richest ones in there leagues. You havent proved anything. Just because a team has a smaller fanbase doesnt mean they dont deserve to be in the league.
Wigan over the next 50 years might end up winning everything and the fanbase could become huge, we could get relegated and our fanbase gets a lot smaller, should we not be in the league ??
What are you even saying? You have tried to elicit a response on a hypothetical situation for which you have not supplied the parameters. Try giving more detail about the situation of the club before I can give you an answer. I'll try to save you some time though. I don't treat Wigan or Fulham any differently than if it were City in the same situation. I hope that's a good enough answer to prevent me having to decipher another set of gibberish.
