I disagree.No he wouldn't. He is a rich man's Benjani, a panic buy off the back of one good season at Swansea and was never good enough for our team. He has had more than enough time and opportunity to show his value but he failed. Plus his attitude stinks. On what evidence is he "a very good player"? He is average at best so whilst he would do well for a club like West Ham he would not set the world on fire there either.

I agree. I hoped when we got him he would be an improvement on Dzeko particularly with respect to ball retention and link up play and while he has been marginally better in those departments he offers nowhere near the same goal threat as the Bosnian. Also work rate seems suspect he has that laid back style often exhibited by his infamous fellow countryman. Not likely to be around next season but as stated above may fit in better elsewhere.Needs to be offloaded - not good enough for us - a step down from Dzeko. Its just a damn shame Negredo couldn't settle, he was top drawer
31 goals in around 60 Premier league starts would indicate he's a decent Premier League striker.
